Angua is part of a Spanish Business Group present in several countries, with activities in the following sectors: Environment, Non-Conventional Renewable Energies, Forestry, Timber, and Cultivation and Industrialisation of Plant Fibres.
Our flagship project is Angua Forestal, which we have been developing in Argentina for the past 10 years, a very large project to plant and maintain native subtropical hardwoods for subsequent processing into high-quality parquet or flooring. It is an internationally recognised project that is being used as a model by the Argentine National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA).
In parallel, we are growing and processing Abaca plant (Musa textilis) in Ecuador for transformation into high quality plant fibre.
As well as planting trees and growing plant fibres, we contribute to a cleaner and more sustainable planet in many other ways.
Angua’s Vision
Our Path
To be a leader in the cultivation of high-quality hardwoods and Abaca fibre in planted forests and their subsequent processing. We also aim to make an effective contribution to climate change mitigation through CO2 sequestration.
Angua’s Mission
SUSTAINABLE RESOURCES
Use the raw materials from our plantations:
Using wood to create high quality flooring from natural and sustainably grown materials.
Using the Abaca fibre to provide a sustainable alternative for the manufacture of textiles and other products, replacing petroleum-based derivatives and reducing plastic pollution.
