Angua Fiber Planting and Sourcingr

With the valuable experience we have gained over the last ten years in the agri-forestry sector, thanks to our pioneering project in Argentina, Angua cultivates and manages Abaca plantations in the area of Las Villegas/La Concordia in Ecuador. This experience has helped us to improve both plant genetics and cultivation systems, resulting in higher production per hectare and better fibre quality.

At the same time, Angua has agreements with producers in its area of influence for the supply of unprocessed Abaca fibre, in line with Fair Trade principles. The raw material is processed in its own collection and industrialisation centre in Valle Hermoso, Ecuador.
